Website Use & Privacy Policy
How we look after your information and how to use this site – and our planning tools – with confidence.
1. Who we are
Resonate – Creative Events (“Resonate”, “we”, “us”) is a creative events studio based in the UK. This website showcases our work and provides tools to help you explore and shape your event vision.
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us at hello@resonatecreative.co.uk.
2. Using this website
Everything on this site – including wording, layouts, tools, images and visuals – is provided for inspiration and information only. Using this website does not in itself create a contract for us to deliver an event or any related services.
All content is owned by or licensed to Resonate. Please do not copy, reproduce or adapt our designs, tools, text or imagery without our written permission.
3. Event planner tools & beta features
Our online Event Layout Planner and any related calculators, visualisers or “beta” tools are designed to help you explore ideas, approximate layouts and sense-check options. They are guidance tools only.
- Capacities, measurements and costs shown in the tools are indicative, not guarantees, and may need to be adjusted to suit your specific venue and suppliers.
- Final capacities, layouts, safety clearances and technical specifications must always be confirmed directly with your venue and any relevant professionals (e.g. production, catering, health & safety).
- We may update, refine or withdraw beta tools at any time as we continue to improve them.
Any formal proposal, quote or contract from us will always set out the agreed scope of work and will take precedence over anything generated in the planner.
4. What information we collect
We collect information when you:
- Submit an enquiry via the website form;
- Use our planner tools and choose to send details to us; or
- Contact us directly by email or Instagram.
This may include your name, contact details, event date, approximate guest numbers, venue ideas, budget preferences and any additional information you choose to share about your plans.
5. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Respond to enquiries and follow up with you about potential projects;
- Understand your event requirements so we can suggest suitable options, layouts and creative directions;
- Keep basic records of conversations and proposals; and
- Improve our services and tools over time.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Where we need to work with trusted partners (for example, venues or key suppliers), we will only share details relevant to planning your event and only when appropriate.
6. Cookies & analytics
This site may use basic cookies and analytics to understand how visitors use the website (for example, which pages are most popular and how people move through them). This helps us refine the experience and prioritise future improvements.
You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them entirely if you prefer.
7. How we store and protect your data
We keep enquiry and project information in secure digital systems and only for as long as is reasonably necessary for:
- Managing your enquiry or project;
- Maintaining sensible business and tax records; and
- Understanding repeat clients and long-term collaborations.
We aim to comply with UK data protection law (including UK GDPR) and take appropriate steps to protect your information against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you;
- Request corrections if anything is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Ask us to delete certain information, where appropriate; and
- Object to certain types of processing.
If you’d like to exercise any of these rights, please email hello@resonatecreative.co.uk and we’ll be happy to help.
9. Social media
We currently use Instagram as our primary social platform. If you choose to interact with us there, your use of Instagram is also subject to their own terms and privacy notices.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this page from time to time to reflect new tools, legal requirements or ways we work. The version shown here will always be the one that applies when you use the site.
